Submission Guidelines:

Before submitting to The Istanbul Review, we strongly suggest that writers acquaint themselves with the type and quality of work we publish by reading previous issues of the magazine.

We welcome writing in the form of tips/tricks, how-to or product review articles. The work must be neither previously published nor accepted for publication. All submissions must be in English, and translations should be accompanied by the original text.

In order to be environmentally friendly, The Istanbul Review only accepts submissions via email. These can be in the form of Word documents or PDF files.

All submissions should be sent to: submissions@theistanbulreview. com

The title of your email should include genre, followed by your last name and the first letter of your first name. For example:

Fiction. Smith, A

Poetry. McKinnie, G.

Please place your full name and contact information in the body of the email along with a 150-200 word biography.

Your full name and contact details should also appear on the first page of your attached document.

How-To Guide submissions should be between 1000 to 2000 words in length and double spaced.

For Tips & Tricks submissions, please send no more than 800 words of content.

For product reviews, please send no more than 600 words of content.

Simultaneous submissions are acceptable as long as we are notified immediately if the work gets accepted for publication elsewhere.
